You can´t imagine a more thrilling and exciting show than a perfect acro-demonstration under sunny skies, can you? The U-Turn acro team assembles some of the worlds´most skilled and innovative acro pilots. To see these masters painting their figures in a high-speed-rhythm into the sky is a must.
“We believe in acro-shows as a perfect mean to raise interest by spectators to become recreational paraglider-pilots”, U-Turn Co-founder Thomas Vosseler says. “Therefore we not only operate an acro team, but also created an outstanding acro glider called G-FORCE.” With this masterpiece, designed by Ernst Strobl, the team members can show figures in high-speed and precision never seen before: Tumblings, wing-overs, asymmetrical SATs and so on.
Team members show up at all competions and events of distinction, for example the World Cup Series taking place this year in Norway, Italy, Switzerland, Slovenia and France as well as at the Paragliding Grand Prix or other important championships. “We can´t afford to let any stone unturned in order to improve our business” Vosseler takes responsibility for the hole paragliding branch.
The shows conducted by the team are breathtaking, but safety is key to everything. We are very glad to be able to say that no serious incident ever happened during our team members shows, due to best equipment, meticulous testing and weeks for weeks of practising.
